Yup its Friday again and a long weekend – time to celebrate! See below your fun fact for this week :
Sadly for most of us money doesn’t grow on trees, but did you know you can grow your very own money tree.
Here’s some interesting facts about the Money Tree and how it came to have this name. Legend has it that a poor Taiwanese farmer found a small Pachira plant growing in his field one day. He was struck by its beauty and, realizing that he might be able to use this tree to escape poverty, he decided to grow and sell these mysterious plants that were growing in his field. He soon became one of the wealthiest people in Taiwan and, attributing his wealth to the Pachira plant, he dubbed it the Money Tree.
Most money trees have five or six leaves on each stem, but you’ll occasionally find one with seven leaves on each stem. If you do, you might want to consider buying a lottery ticket—seven leaf stems are rumoured to bring extra luck.
Interesting !! Maybe you should invest in one of these lucky trees 🙂
